I also included the manual for the FLIR PathFindIR thermal camera if anyone is interested. For over 10 Years we have been providing the best wireless backup cameras in the industry. I need to find a place to tap 12V for this thermal camera (sort of like my rear view camera). I also found a pdf on how to retrofit this nightvision camera in an M5 - but a lot of this document will be applicable (like where the bracket can be mounted). I ordered part #66546962490 to see if it will help me custom mount it: If I have to I will custom mount it elsewhere in the front where I can. I'm also worried about blocking air ducting going to the front brakes. Part# from the following diagram is what I want to use: I believe the M6 grills and regular 6series grills are different shapes so this will be interesting. The camera will mount up front (if I can) and possibly use the grill insert from a 6Series (of which the Flir PathfindIR is an option). I do not plan on installing a nozzle washer like the 6series/M5's have and I'm sure I don't need the "control module" that some BMW's have. I'm using a ModMyNav multimedia module of which I plan to run the FLIR camera into the AV2 input so I will not need wiring diagrams for stock wiring setups (in the 6Series or M5's). Now I wish to run it into my idrive screen using the ModMyNav module. I had it installed on my previous car (Honda S2000) and had it integrated in with a Garmin GPS unit with a video input. So I'm going to try to outfit my M6 with my FLIR PathfindIR camera. Does anyone here use a Zoombak module or can they advise where a good concealable 12V lead might be to feed off of? The module can be concealed in a trunk or engine bay or glove box. In my S2000 I had it connected off of an accessory lead off the fusebox under the drivers side dash (tucked up in but still not very concealed if someone knew what to look for). I'd like to install the Zoombak module in my M6 but am unsure as to where I could tap into a 12V lead. It allows you to log into a webpage and do an unlimited number of queries/tracking if you're curious where your car is (especially if it's stolen). I have a Zoombak GPS Locator ( ) with an Auto install kit that I had installed on my previous vehicle. I was curious if anyone had any instructions on running coax lead through the car up to the i-Drive/Nav unit. I have a FLIR PathfindIR thermal camera I'd like to connect - and I believe the multimedia units from are a key element for this (and perhaps a backup camera in the rear). I have a few accessories I'd like to install that I had setup on my previous vehicle (2005 Honda S2000 w/ 85k miles - bought brand new in 2005).ฤก. I picked up my 2006 M6 w/ 20k miles and I'm loving it.
