Relocation assistance is available to candidates who meet eligibility requirements. This position requires an employee to be onsite two times per week, generally on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The employee's role enables them to work at a GM facility or off-site as frequently as needed or desired. This role offers the following Work Appropriately strategies: A strong portfolio of school projects, freelance or internship work demonstrating creating user-centered designs that illustrate the ability to turn requirements into creative solutions.Understanding of i18n and localization best practices and WCAG Level AA accessibility requirement standards.Strong attention to detail and passionate problem solver with critical thinking skills.Solid understanding of how the user-centered design process drives design thinking and implementation.Experience designing in a variety of form factors, including desktop, responsive web, and mobile platforms.Understanding of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, etc and advanced prototyping skills with tools such as Axure, Sketch, Balsamiq etc.Graduation date must be between December 2020 to September 2022.Bachelor's or Master's degree in HCI, Human Factors, Psychology, Design or equivalent degree.Take ownership and create personal professional growth objectives and find ways to achieve them.Foster collaboration among teammates and evangelize the need for brand and application consistency.Research design trends and forecast future experiences.Participate in workshops for journey mapping, brainstorming, vision sessions, and requirements gathering.Ensure compliance with all standards of usability, design best practices and accessibility.Learn and develop personas, user workflows / story boards and logical information architecture. ![]() Build strong relationships with IT and business partners to ensure the user is well represented in the product development cycle. ![]()
